Abstract

ABSTRACT This paper analyzes performance of education indicators in Brazil´s South region. In addition, reveal household spending in education at South region and compares with Brazilian profile. In this perspective, both education indicators and household budget are evidence for that performance isn´t encouraging in relationship with other Brazilian regions. In this approach, rethink the educational system and deepen debates over these themes are matters in highlight, at risk of worst economic development.
