Estimação da equação de salário para o Brasil, o Paraná e o Rio Grande do Sul em 2007 — uma abordagem quantílica

Abstract

The main source that influence the wage is the Education, that has been well know in the literature, the wage distribuition is assimetric then the quantile regression has been used to study the relationship between the education and the wage. In this paper was estimaded the quantile regression at Brasil, Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul in 2007. The result indicate that the education return is higher when the higher is the percentile, this return is higher to man than woman, where this difference is less in Rio Grande do Sul, when looking for gender and family position, the wage add is less when the woman is family head in lower percentil.
