Centro, periferia e dependência: a crise do fordismo lá e cá

Luiz Augusto Estrella Faria

Resumo

The regulation approach allows marxist development economies,
formerly created as an abstract science, to become an applied
science. The shift form the abstract level to the applied one is the first
point presented. It needs the discussion of some key concepts like
regimes of accumulation, modes of regulation, industrial paradigms
and stages of development. A second point is the inequality of
existing economies and the core-periphery relation. Here a second
methodological shift is needed to avoid mechanicism. The regulation
approach can only be usefull where a relatively autonomous process
of capital accumulation exists, picturing a specific mod« of
development, even in a dependent way. That is the case of Brazil and
its peripheral fordism.
