Democracia e elite: o papel da elite na sociedade pluralista
Resumo
The author discusses the notion of elite according to acting and
influence area, pointing out the necessity of elites capable of deciding and
exerting influence, ethically and culturally committed to democracy, a
regime which cannot work without them. The author describes t he German
political elites' situation and its degree of responsibility to the solution of
problems such as the German and European unification, and the crisis in
Eastern Europe. Problems on which depends humanity's survival.
