Una elite empresaria en la Argentina: la Unión Industrial Argentina
Resumo
"Unión Industrial Argentina" (Argentine's Industrial Union) is a traditional
institution, established in 1887, and is one of the most powerful
organizations of the local entrepreneurs. The analysis of its organization,
of the way it is conducted, and of its activities reveals that it has worked
as a club, expressing only a reduced group of entrepreneurs, linked to the
dominant local class, and having little interest in industrial development,
due both to its range of activities and to the ideology it has taken over
during its history. These elements give it a notable inertia up to now.
