Resumo

Perspectives for the regional issue in Brazil discusses the topic on three items:
first, how to go by the theme in the Brazilian economy; second, how it happened in
the international debate; and third, how it emerges in the present context of Brazil.
From these analyses the author poses the ultimate question: "what is left for the
Regions?”
