Considerações sobre a categoria dinheiro de crédito

Victor Hugo Klagsbrunn

Resumo

This paper privileges the theoretical elaboration of Marx's theory of money,
wich is contrasted to some of Keynes's developments with the chief purpose of
specifying the pecularities of Marx's method and the differing analytical possibilities
it both entails and stimulates. The credit money category, coined by Marx, completes
the theory of money in capitalism in that it is the latter’s proper form of money. It
develops from value in a contradictory relationship to the general equivalent and
integrates within itself the major determinants of the credit system. The study deals
with what money is and its functions; makes considerations on the laws governing
the circulation of bank notes and its relationship with the credit system.
