Entre perdas e ganhos apontamentos sobre a indústria gaúcha

Resumo

The Rio Grande do Sul’s industrial performance in the 1970-85 period is evaluated by the present article. In the first part some current thesis on Rio Grande do Sul's industrialization are confronted with the available data. In the second part the main changes of the state's industrial park are evaluated having in mind the differences and similarities with t h e Brazilian industrial process.
