Resumo

The purpose of this article is to define the production and the diffusion
dynamics of the technical progresse concerning the Brazilian economy. It draws a
draft of the historical evolution of the relations between the Brazilian different
capital accumulation characteristics and the different phases of technical progress
production and diffusion, within the background of the great global trends. It also
discusses the recent phase, with emphasis on the scientific and technological policies.
