Abstract

ABSTRACT This paper analyzes the economic performance of Rio Grande do Sul in 2011 based on regional accounts data estimated by the Foundation of Economics and Statistics (FEE). After a year of 2010 marked by strong economic growth, the economy decelerated in 2011, nationally and regionally. In the case of Rio Grande do Sul, the record harvest braked the slowdown economic.
