Desempenho do mercado de trabalho na RMPA em 2011

Abstract

ABSTRACT The period January through November 2011 was favorable to the labor market in the Metropolitan Area of Porto Alegre. The increase in the occupied people determined a fall in the unemployment rate, in comparison to the same period in 2010. The 7.5% rate represents the lowest level for this period along the Survey of Employment and Unemployment in MRPA time series. The rising in the number of employed was noted in all sectors of economic activity, and according to job position, with emphasis on the expansion of the private sector formal registered workers. In 2011, the real average earnings increased for all workers and occupied people. Key words: work, unemployment, income. Artigo recebido em 17 jan. 2012.
