Análise de clusters e aplicação do modelo gravitacional aos fluxos de comércio do Estado de Goiás

Abstract

The analysis and formulation of mathematical models are important tools for research in any field of knowledge. This paper seeks to contribute to reducing the gap in quantitative studies applied to the flow of interstate commerce, considering some factors that promote or hinder such flows for the case of the State of Goiás. Was applied the gravity model and cluster analysis to both. The results infer that the trade relations for the case of Goiás, reflect predicted by studies with classical gravity models, namely that the flow of trade of Goiás depends directly in GDP other states and inverse of their distances.
