Caracterização do comércio externo da indústria têxtil-confecções de Santa Catarina em 1996-05: Uma análise conjuntural

Abstract

The industry textile-confection constitutes one of the sectors that contribute for the formation of the catarinense exporting guideline, considered 6ª. bigger of the country. The sell for the external market is of the USS order 350 million in 2005, being the main commercialized product, the confectioned textile articles. The United States and Argentina are responsible for 60% of the value gotten with the exportations. In turn, the catarinenses importations add about USS 138 million, being the cotton,of 1996 the 2000, and the synthetic or artificial filaments, of 2000 the 2005, the product more important bought in the exterior. The Argentina, U. S. A. and Paraguay lose spaces for China, Taiwan and India as native countries of the importations. One concludes that the values of the exportations textiles-confections practically keep steady in the period in study, while the importations decrease it the long one of the time, contributing, thus, for the formation of the surplus of the Brazilian trade balance in years 2000.
