Avaliação das ações para promoção de arranjos produtivos e inovativos locais no RS: Os casos dos arranjos de máquinas e implementos agrícolas e de móveis

Abstract

The paper aims at mapping the existing policies in the state of Rio Grande do Sul that are directed towards the local productive arrangements (LPA), and at analyzing the reach and effectiveness of those policies for the promotion and consolidation of the agricultural machinery and implements arrangement of the northeast region of Rio Grande do Sul, and the furniture arrangement in the Serra region. For that end, a field research was undertaken in the first semester of 2006, in which the institutions responsible for formulating and/or implementing those policies were interviewed. In each arrangement, we investigated also how the beneficiaries of the policies assessed its effectiveness.
