O boom chinês e as economia Latino-americanas

Abstract

Trade and investment flows originated in China have become an important source of economic dynamism in Latin America. This paper analyzes this process. We argue that there are at least two major patterns of bilateral trade, one represented by Mexico and the Central America, and the other associated with South American countries. Chinese economic boom can be considered, simultaneously, an opportunity and a threat to major Latin American economies.
