This article addresses the polemic over the issue of the commoditization of the Brazilian foreign trade, positioning itself on this debate. According to the article, the economic exporting boom which took place after the second half of the ninety mineties did not produce neither positive nor qualitative changes in the Brazilian exporting guidelines. This shows that there was no increase in the participation of manufactures in the Brazilian aggregated exports over the above mentioned period of time.Downloads
