A conjuntura econômica internacional em 2005

Abstract

In this paper the author introduces an analysis of the behavior of main advanced economies through 2005. In a world where global economic expansion remained last year, the main focus is devoted to the role of United State and China, leader economies at present healthy growth. The current situation leaves behind the crisis of the beginning of this decade. However, both U.S. current account and fiscal deficit and the Chinese exchage reform of last July are the main controversial subjects in the global economic agenda. The author focuses too, the restrictions Japan and EU economies face in their recoveries.
