Uma análise do perfil previdenciário do Rio Grande do Sul

Resumo

O presente artigo busca analisar o perfil previdenciário do Rio Grande do Sul, evidenciando a situação do Estado em relação a seus pares, naquilo que diz respeito ao relacionamento com o Regime Geral de Previdência Social. São analisados alguns aspectos, como o saldo entre as contribuições arrecadadas e os benefícios recebidos e o perfil urbano/rural do Estado. Adicionalmente, o artigo foca a importância da Previdência Social para os municípios gaúchos e as diferenças entre os seus perfis previdenciários.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the Social Security profile in the State of Rio Grande do Sul, showing the situation of the state in relation to that of its peers. Some aspects are analyzed, such as the balance between the contributions collected and the benefits received as well as the urban/rural profile of the state. Additionally, the article focuses on the importance of Social Security for the state’s municipalities and the differences between their social security profiles.
