- Abstract
- The objective of this paper was analyzing the localization of the handwork in the productive activities of the regions of the South region of Brazil, in the period from 1991 to 2000. For this, the method of regional analysis was used, through the measures of specialization and localization. The results had pointed a concentration of the secondary and tertiary activities in the regions with bigger population density. Moreover, it was verified that the dynamics of the region is leashed in the secondary and tertiary activities with prominence for the commerce and public sector.
