- Abstract
- The objective this text is studies the economic formation of Santa Catarina after 1880. A new historical arrangement was built, considering the change in the economic growing pattern in Santa Catarina. The time-scale is as the following: from 1880 to 1945 we have the origin and the growing of the industrial capital. From 1945 to 1962 the years were marked the diversification and amplification of the productive base. The third period starts after 1962, when the integration and the consolidation of the industry in Santa Catarina takes place. The last period begins in 1990 starting from the commercial and financial opening and of the deregulation of the economy with the sphacelament of the State.
