Lições do capitalismo organizado: o mercado de trabalho do Pós-guerra nos países capitalistas centrais

Abstract: This paper analyses the role played by the institutions created in Bretton Woods in the consolidation of Organized Labor Markets in the G7 low countries during the post-World War II. These countries labor markets showed unemployment rates, real wage increases and better income distribution than ever in the History of Capitalism. The main objective of this article is to arouse the importance of the international institutions and of the Nation-States in the consolidation of fullemployment macroeconomic policies. The end of the Bretton Woods arrangements and the instability created by global financial markets provoked the reversion of the positive results obtained in the post-World War II national labor markets.
