- The concept of the liquidity in economy is a problematic question. The solution for that question is very difficult to be gotten. Because there are a lot of changes in tecnological innovation that can be seen in financial field. These changes in financial structure make it necessary to change the definition of liquidity, such as the development of money market, also has influences. Nowadays the demand for money is considered the main point of studies in macroeconomic models for some conceptions of economic thought.
