The performance of the BRDE in the Brazilian southern fields

Abstract

The access to the sovereign debt became basic condition for the social reproduction in the rural southern regions, configuring itself in the estimated one for the activation of the local production and for the guarantee of the private appropriation of the regional income. The inquiry of the performance of the Banco Regional de Desenvolvimento do Extremo Sul (BRDE) in the period of 2001 the 2004 indicates the aiding of the local elites, concept that of necessary remaining portion to be redefined according to its new characteristics.
