Análise da competitividade da indústria de base florestal da região de Lages, SC

Abstract

This paper analyses wood’s cluster site in Lages/SC and área. This place is called like Serra Catarinense. The factors has limited its competitiveness in market are the principals analyses variables. The main conclusions was: a) the enterprises showed low level in the process and product’s technology innovation; b) The main limited factors are: low management efficiency, restricted R&D investments, it’s cause small difference and small product’s standardization on traditional and low add value product’s line; it’s restricted cooperative and associative relationship with the concurrence and the industrial plants has characterized with technologic delay, low productivity and high production costs.
