El Estado y el desarrollo económico de la Argentina: nuevas orientaciones, posibilidades y límites

Resumen

The privatisation of public enterprises in Argentina has its roots in the negative experience with their operation and provision of services during the previous decades. The history of the system, together with the action of several groups of interest, allows to understand the outcome. But, the policies selected in order to accomplish the privatisation process created powerful private groups operating in monopolysed markets. This scheme acts, now, as a restriction for the potential implementation of social goals.
