O setor informal em uma dinâmica de desenvolvimento local: indústria, família e território

Resumen

This paper analyses the organization dynamics of production micro units in Rio Grande do Su’s Vale do Sinos region. This study locates itself in the intersection of two problems: one which refers to the issue of informality, and another which uses the recent contributions to development economics articulated by the concept of "local productive system". Our aim is to show that the working rationality of these activities is combined with a territorial logic that explains most of its dynamism in the studied region.
