A complexidade do real: a ciência regional à procura de uma nova matriz de leitura

Resumen

This article discusses the systemic approach of the regional science. The author stresses the necessity for the regional economists to adopt a new paradigm in order to relate more adequately to the reality of conflictual logics that characterise the regional space. The approach proposed here requires an effort on the comprehension of new or revisited concepts like system, overture/closure, interdependence, autonomy, resilience, order/disorder, development ... Finally the article warns tha much more empiric studies and theoric analyses are needed to construct a new method that could render the complexity of the regional space. The first steps demonstrate that it is difficuIt but possible.
