Mecanismos de aprendizagem, cooperação e inovação em aglomerações produtivas: o caso da indústria de móveis de Marco

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article discusses the relationship between geographical proximity of firms, dynamics innovative and competitive. The aim of the analysis focuses on local dimension of processes learning, cooperation and innovation within local productive arrangements, considering systemic and interactive nature of these processes, in particular, the analysis of their specificities and innovative capacity. These arguments are applied in the empirical study performed in productive arrangement of furniture in the city of Marco, in the state of Ceará, where could see that learning and innovation depend mainly from sources outside the arrangement. Innovation capacity is incremental and still low complexity, based imitation (copying) and there is still little interaction of the institutions around them, with view to providing greater dynamism to the sector.
