Determinismo e não determinismo em Marx

Abstract

This paper aims at discussing the relation structure-subject in Karl Marx, with particular attention to the interpretation that the author is determinist. The starting point is the Thorstein Veblen’s critics. Subsequently, passages of Marx are presented that show the participation of individuals in social change, going against the point of view that individual is merely conditioned by social relations
