The economic impact of Rio Grande do Sul's "Act for the advancement of culture" (LIC-RS) on its film industry

Abstract

This paper evaluate the impact of the LIC in the Rio Grande do Sul’s movies production. The target is to identify imperfections and suggest alternatives by economic point of view so that movies production supported by LIC result in social benefits.
