Abstract

The purpose of the paper is to defend the argument that the controversy Keynes and pós-keynesian versus (neo)classical and new classical goes by in ontology’s foreword, that is, the convention about the nature of the economic system in analysis. Notwithstanding this committal doesn’t be explicit, it comes from the way the economic theory is formulated. From a more general point of view, all science method predicate one ontology and, therefore, the science must include clearly one ontology — investigation about the object’s nature, for this we utilize the critical realism, school that expose the specific ontology for the social dominion, sketching its relation with Keynes and the pós-keynesian.
