A dimensão espacial nos estudos de economia regional, no Brasil: temas e interrogações recentes

Abstract

The article deals with the spatial dimension of the economic phenomena in Brazil while subject of studies and researches produced in the last decade. Based on the contributions of some authors, recurrent subjects in this literature are taken in evidence, as sketching a guideline to stimulate the interested reader to further reflections. The article combines the spatial concentration problematic of the Brazilian economic development with other subjects as the technological poles regions, the "fiscal war", the industrial agglomerations and the absence of national politics of regional development. The Brazilian regional inequalities continue being the background to the other subjects, since they consist in the biggest challenge for the research as for the elaboration of regionalized economic policies.
