La frontera: un nuevo rol frente a la integración - la experiencia en el MERCOSUR

Abstract

This paper is about Latin American integration within the border revaluation problem. What is discussed is the change in its function: from a discriminating border to a permeable one, i. e. one that articulates neighbor economies. Starting from the Latin American reality, and more specifically that of the Cone Sul, the author discusses the conceptual mark of the integration, as well as the compatibility or conflict of national and borderline interests.
