Abstract

"Regional Interests and the Brazilian Federation" develops several essential themes for the debate: the inter-regional dynamics and the federative pact; the federative crisis in the 1980s; the politics of the governors and the decentralization and crisis of the federative pact; and at last the prospects of the governors' politics and the abeve-mentioned pact.
