Uma nota sobre a evolução recente da estrutura industrial gaúcha

Abstract

This article makes an estimate of Rio Grande do Su!'s industrial structure in the period 1985-1992. It takes the 1985 IBGE's Industrial Census as a starting point and estimates, year after year, the participation of every industry in the industrial structure. For this purpose, it uses the anual growth rate of prices and production of each industry. One of the results is that Rio Grande do Sul's industrial structure became less concentrated during the period studied.
