Abstract

The author starts from a distinction between types of territorial organization in Germany to study the industrial systems located in them. He points out four types of territorial organization of industry and widens his analysis for Baden-Württenberg. He then studies the important problem of the relationship between the localized industrial systems and public policies, arriving to conclusions that define a profile of the german example.
