Privatização e ajuste fiscal no Brasil

Resumo

This text discusses the impact of privatization over public accounts from three different angles: in the first it verifies the intertemporal impact over the Finantial Needs of Public Sector; in the second it observes if there are reazons for a priori patrimonial gain or loss with the sale of public enterprises and, in the third, it locates the role of revenues from privatization in assuring a transition between the present state of fiscal difficulties and an equilibrium position in public accounts when the structural reforms in course on public finances will be producing the results desired.
