A evolução dos fundamentos teóricos da política monetária no enfoque monetarista

Resumo

The purpose of this article is to show the evolution of the theoretical structure which gives support to the monetarist monetary policy guide. The article analyses the principal contributions developed by Milton Friedman, Robert Lucas Jr. and Robert Barro on the different stages of the monetarist view in order to point out particular hypothesis, about the demand for money and the aggregate supply behavior.
