In this article the cattle and sheep breeding in Rio Grande do Sul is uncharacterized as a feudal productive sistem. By contrast, it is viewed as a social productive sistem based on wage labor. In this way capitalist - although impure, dependent and undeveloped. Starting from this definition, a historical material is used to explain the thesis.
