A controvérsia sobre as relações entre investimento, poupança e crédito

Resumo

This paper sums up the recent contributions for the theoretical debate on the relationships between investiment, savings and credit. Firstly, ít focuses on the shortage of savings as a restriction to increase investiment. Secondly, it shows how post-keynesian economics reinstated the keynesian theory of investiment emphasizing the finance side of investiment decisions and putting together an alternative approach to the well-know neoclassical synthesis.
